COOL Testimony

I was not an active member when I first joined my COOL. In the past, I used to hang out with my non-church friends more than my COOL members. It was not that they were unfriendly, but the social environment within the church community was very different from what I was used to.
At first, moving back and forth between the two environments felt uncomfortable and unfamiliar. But over time, God rebuked me and showed me that I needed to spend more time in church and with people who shared the same faith. It took me a while to adjust, but slowly, I began to experience the love of God through my COOL members’ care and warmth.
Whenever I felt down, alone, or out of place, someone from COOL would always reach out to me and make sure I felt included. They reminded me that I was not alone and that I had people around me who genuinely cared.
Sometimes, the members of COOL may not have the answers to every problem I face, but they are always willing to listen, support me, and walk alongside me. Through them, God shows me what it means to have a spiritual family.
That was when I realised that God had placed me in COOL for a purpose. Whether or not I remain here forever, I want to do my best to testify about what God has done in my life, share His Word, and help bring the members of COOL closer together.
This is not something I do to repay God, because I know that His love and grace cannot be earned, and He does not demand repayment from me.
Rather, I see it as my response to everything He has given me. I truly believe that God has placed me here for this reason, and I want to be faithful to the purpose He has given me in this community.
